The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the beef industry, excellent communication skills and youth development interest in beef industry &amp; leadership activities. Proven event planning experience is preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in coordination of events and educational activities including the AIJCA Junior National Show &amp; Leadership Conference and CharFocus Youth Conference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate alongside Junior National planning committee and Junior Board on fundraising efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with the membership, AICA committees and board to expand the impact of the AIJCF and ACF foundations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process sponsorship donations and contribution acknowledgments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentor AIJCA Junior Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create event promotional pieces and exhibitor correspondence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage AIJCA social media and website content and coordinate updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel to ROE and AIJCA Shows as assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in ACF and AIJCF office procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Produce digital content for website banner ads and email blasts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure connectivity between web, email, and social messaging<br>Skills \/ Requirements:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communications skills, including telephone, written and presentation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Superb customer service skills and attitude.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe creative products such as InDesign and Photoshop.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A positive attitude and willingness to learn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient with Google Docs and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.<br>Education\/Experience:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in agriculture communications or business, marketing, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Livestock show and show management experience preferred.<br>AICA employees enjoy a strong benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and an employer-funded pension.
